Operators, 2014 to 2020
We started inside the companies. We co-founded Andela, which trained 100,000 African engineers for global roles, and Flutterwave, which gave businesses the rails to sell to the world. Building from the ground up taught us what it takes to compete globally from Africa.
Investors, 2020 to 2026
We took that experience into investing. We backed more than 130 founders across 16 countries with capital, coaching and community. Some became category leaders, like Moove, which has turned more than 3,000 drivers into vehicle owners. Many more taught us that capital alone does not build enduring companies. The businesses that win have builders working alongside them every day.
Builders, 2026 onwards
So we now do both. We combine capital with operating talent, and we build alongside founders from day one, focusing on the businesses that create productive jobs at scale.

Our approach is different because we become operators and build alongside our founders.
We will concentrate capital in a smaller number of high-conviction companies where we can own a meaningful stake and directly influence their growth.
