Fellowship duration is 3-6 months, ideally full-time but could also be part-time under certain circumstances.

Areas of Focus

As a Product & Tech Fellow, you will have the opportunity to contribute in one or more of the following areas:

1. Product Management: Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, for innovative solutions addressing African challenges. Drive product strategy, conduct market research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products.
2. Frontend Engineering: Develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our portfolio companies using modern frameworks like React and TypeScript.
3. UI/UX Design: Create user-centered designs and maintain comprehensive design systems to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
4. Graphic Design: Produce visually compelling designs for various digital and print mediums, enhancing brand identities across our portfolio.

Who We Are Looking For

• Accomplished product and tech professionals with at least 4 years of experience in fields such as product management, software engineering, UI/UX design, or graphic design.
• Individuals with a proven track record of success and leadership in their respective areas.
• A deep passion for product development, technology, innovation, and the transformative potential of startups in Africa.
• Strong technical or product management skills combined with excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication abilities.
• A commitment to contributing to Africa's technological and product development, and a desire to apply your skills in a venture capital context.
